Jonathan B. White
Dr. White is an Ohio native who fell in love with Dayton during his undergraduate studies at the University of Dayton in 2008. He returned to the Gem City in 2022 as a provider at Five Rivers Health Center after completing his education in podiatric medicine at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Five Rivers is a federally qualified health center that aims to provide high-quality healthcare to low-income patients in the Dayton area. While providing care to this population, Dr. White quickly recognized the financial barriers for patients to achieve optimal foot health. After searching for available community resources and finding a lack of support, he felt compelled to establish a local initiative to address this gap. As a result, Dayton Has Sole was founded in 2024 under Dr. White's leadership. As the Executive Director, it is his responsibility to manage the organization's day-to-day functions under the direction of the Board.
